GoLang – Find Inverse Hyperbolic Cosine – Acosh() Function – Examples & Explanation

Acosh() function is used to find the inverse hyperbolic cosine for the given input (x – parameter) in Go language. The standard math package of Go programming language has Acosh() function. The purpose of this function is to find the inverse of hyperbolic cosine function which is also known as area hyperbolic cosine.

Syntax of Acosh() Function in Go Language

The syntax of Acosh() function in Go Language:

Note: float64 is a data type in Go language which has IEEE-754 64-bit floating-point numbers.
Special cases are:
Acosh(+Inf) = +Inf
Acosh(x) = NaN if x < 1
Acosh(NaN) = NaN

 

Parameters of Acosh() Function in Go Language

x – Where x is any Valid Input value ( float64). This parameter is required.

 

Error Handling

If the x parameter is not a number (numeric value) Acosh() function returns an error .
